NETGEAR is planning to expand its all India presence by getting into five state capitals and five major cities.
World leader in products for home segments, NETGEAR has been continuously expanding its business in India. As a part of their expansion plan, they propose to reach out to 10 new locations in India including state capitals like Lucknow, Chandigarh, Bhopal, Raipur, Patna, and important cities like Guwahati, Vijayawada, Cochin, Pune , Nagpur.
Subhodeep Bhattacharya, Regional Director, India & SAARC, NETGEAR said, "India is a growing market. The adoption of broadband and introduction of 3G internet and 4G services are set to expand at a high pace in India. We realise that our growth will only come if we penetrate into the tier 2 and tier 3 cities and that is where we are trying to show our presence. We are committed to provide proper services to our clients at their doorstep and are therefore focussing on influential channel development."
Out of the proposed 10 cities in which NETGEAR plans to expand, some already have NETGEAR's retail presence. While for other cities NETGEAR is in the process of roping in new partners and dealers. NETGEAR has also dedicated the next quarter for providing training to these new channel partners.
