              Indian equities settled ended lower on Wednesday led by Realty, power and IT sectors.
Nifty closed at 6178.35 down by 24.45 points or 0.39% over the previous day closing of 6202.80 after witnessing a low of 6116.60 and a high of 6217.95. Sensex closed at 20767.88 down by 97.09 points or 0.47% over the previous day closing of 20864.97.It touched an intraday low of 20589.72 and high of 20922.32.
The markets' breadth was positive. Out of 2593 stocks traded 1184 stocks advanced, 1230 stocks declined and 179 stocks remained unchanged. In Sensex, Out of 30 stocks 09 stocks advanced and 21 stocks declined.
Among the sectors, BSE Realty, BSE Power and BSE IT were the main losers of the day which decreased by 1.46%, 1.28% and 0.93% respectively.
In BSE Realty sector Indiabulls Real estate, Anantraj and DB Realty decreased by 3.99%,3.62% and 3.31% respectively. In BSE Power sector Lanco Infra, JSW Energy and Torrent Power declined by 4.47%,3.90% and 2.48% respectively. In BSE IT sector Wipro, Oracle Fin and TCS decreased by 4.41% 1.29% and 1.29% respectively.
