Gitanjali Gems allots 15,54,050 equity shares on preferential basis

Gitanjali Gems Ltd has announced that pursuant to the approval of shareholders of the Company in terms of section 81(1)(A) by way of resolution passed through postal ballot the results of which were declared on March 09, 2007, the Company is making allotment of 15,54,050 equity shares of Rs 10 each on preferential basis to the following persons:

1. B III Capital Partners, L.P., USA : 13,20,943 Number of Shares

2. B III - A Capital Partners, L.P., USA : 2,33,107 Number of Shares

The stock closed the day at Rs.190.65, down by Rs.1.15 or 0.60%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.195.90 and low of Rs.190.40. The total traded quantity was 203000 compared to 2 week average of 255933.
