At 07:30 a.m., Nifty India stock futures in Singapore were trading 32 point up at 5580.50, indicating a higher opening on the domestic market.
On Friday, US markets stocks dipped as investors found little incentive to buy with equity prices not far below last week's record levels.
Major Asian markets were trading mixed with Japanese shares trading at a six-week low after data showed that Japan's economy grew at a slower-than-expected pace in April-June.
