Rural Electrification Corp (SELL, 8% downside) - AMBIT

Rural Electrification Corporation (REC) will announce its 1QFY14 results today. We expect 1QFY14 PAT to increase by 23% YoY to Rs10.85bn driven by a loan growth of 25% YoY and NIM expansion by 15bps YoY. However, as always, the key metric to watch our for during the quarter will be the movement in impaired assets (NPAs plus restructured assets).
