Industrial commodity - Copper: smelters cut output amidst falling prices - ICICI Bank : Treasury Research

International copper prices have gained by around 4% in the month of May, following three consecutive months of decline. While the broad decline in copper in 2013 has been on account of uncertainty surrounding economic growth, esp. in largest consumer China, however prices have recovered in recent weeks as suppliers reacted to falling prices.
