SAIL - Q4FY13 Results First cut - Microsec

SAIL Ltd announced its Q4FY13 and FY13 results on 30th May, 2013.

Quarterly Performance: The company arrived at net sales of INR12162.49 crore, which was down by 9.22%. However, it was up by 15.89% on QoQ basis. The EBITDA for the quarter was INR923.86 crore, which was down by 50.46% and 18.85% on YoY and QoQ basis. Howbeit, the EBITDA Margins fell by 614bps and 318bps on YoY and QoQ basis. The company posted net profit (excluding exceptional item) of INR430.11 crore, which was down by 49.54% and 16.47% on YoY and QoQ basis.

Annual Performance: The company arrived at net sales of INR44060.28 crore, which was down by 3.56%. The EBITDA for the year was INR4700.60 crore, which was down by 22.90%. The net profit was also down by 36.67%.
