The cyclonic storm MAHASEN over westcentral Bay of Bengal moved further northeastwards during past 12 hours at a speed of about 16 kmph and lay centred at 0530 hours IST of May 15, 2013 near latitude 16.00 0 N and longitude 87.00 0 E, about 800 km northwest of Portblair, 450 km southeast of Vishakhapatnam, 480 km south of Paradip and 870 km southwest of Chittagong. It would move northeastwards and cross Bangladesh coast between Khepupara and Teknaff, close to Chittagong during night of May 16, 2013.
