Indian Markets end last trading day of the week in green - Eastern Financiers

Markets ended the last trading day of the week in green amid lack of participation by institutional investors in a special two-hour trading session. The Nifty ended the day at 6107.25, up 12.50 points or 0.21 percent and the Sensex shut shop at 20122.32, up 39.70 points or 0.20 percent.

Sectoral Indices were mixed in nature with gainers out-numbering the losers. The biggest gainer was the Healthcare Index, followed by the PSU & Metal indices. The biggest loser was the IT Index, followed by the Power & Teck Indices.
