AGSTransact Technologies appoints Mr. Amitabh Jaipuria as CEO for Banking business

AGS Transact Technologies Ltd. has announced the appointment of Mr. Amitabh Jaipuria as the 'Chief Executive Officer' for its Banking business.

Amitabh is a senior and well known business leader with over 23 years of experience across various leading multinational and Indian organisations.

Mr. Jaipuria has worked across various business sectors, business cycles, markets and companies in India - from Durables and FMCG to Services and Agriculture; from startups to growth and stable businesses; and from large Indian business houses to giant MNCs.

Prior to joining AGS, Amitabh served as the Managing Director for Monsanto India Limited (MIL) - the listed entity of Monsanto in India for the period of over 5 years. He played an integral role in leading MIL towards its multiple goals, which included Entity, Business, People and Stakeholder management.

Amitabh holds a Bachelors' Degree in Physics from University of Mumbai and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from XLRI.
