Nifty Futures May closes at premium of 5.5 points - Angel Broking

The Nifty futures open interest decreased by 25.14% while BankNifty futures open interest is decreased by 23.05% as market closed at 5916.30 levels.

The Nifty May future closed at premium of 5.5 point against a premium of 21.00 points. The Jun. series closed at a premium of 10.75 points.

The Implied Volatility of at the money options has increased from 12.82% to 13.26%.

Nifty PCR-OI has decreased from 1.22 to 1.05 levels.

The total OI of the market is Rs. 99,408/- cr. and the stock futures OI is Rs.23,713/- cr.

Few of the liquid counters where we have seen high cost of carry are RENUKA, CHAMBLFERT, BHARATFORG, IVRCLINFRA and NHPC.
