Nifty PCR Open Interest increases to 1.22 - Angel Broking

The Nifty futures open interest decreased by 0.40% while BankNifty futures open interest is decreased by 8.54% as market closed at 5836.90 levels.

The Nifty Apr. future closed at premium of 6.10 point against a discount of 1.55 points. The May series closed at a premium of 21.00 points.

The Implied Volatility of at the money options has decreased from 14.86% to 12.82%.

Nifty PCR-OI has increased from 1.17 to 1.22 levels.

The total OI of the market is Rs. 1,56,652/- cr. and the stock futures OI is Rs.30,356/- cr.

Few of the large cap names where we have seen low rollover are HDFC, GAIL, ITC, ICICIBANK and COALINDIA.
