Opus Software Solutions amongst Top 10 Companies in the world to achieve CMMI Level 5 for Services

Opus Software Solutions has been assessed at the highest maturity level rating, Level 5, for the version 1.3 of Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) framework for Services (CMMI-SVC Ver.1.3). This is a significant milestone in Opus`s quest for continual process maturity and improvement.
This assessment covered both the development centers of Opus Software Solutions in India - located at Pune and Chennai. Fewer than 10 companies in the world have been assessed at a CMM Level 5 rating for Services. This appraisal demonstrates Opus continuous commitment for service excellence & quality extending its earlier assessment for CMMi Level 5 for software development.
The Appraisal has validated the firm's commitment and ability to provide 'One Global Service Standard' to its clients using its unique OpusONETM framework. Opus will use this framework to strengthen its service delivery & service management to its customers to ensure consistent & high quality services with continuous improvements. Implementation of a common service vocabulary will result in the reduced complexities & lead to better co-ordination amongst delivery units. The continual feedback mechanism will help in rapid fine-tuning of the service performance & quality. Opus is confident that these improvements will translate into significant benefits to the end customer in terms of improved efficiencies, reduced costs & a streamlined services environment.
CMMI-SVC is used to improve management and service delivery processes in an organization that develops, manages, and delivers services. CMMI Maturity Level 5 is the highest level of process maturity that independently verifies an organization's capabilities to continuously enhance its processes through incremental and innovative process and technological improvements. CMMI Maturity Level 5 affirms the organization's ability to statistically manage the sub-processes in order to achieve process and business objectives.
