Indian Markets to open higher tracking Asian Markets - TRANS SCAN

The Indian markets are expected to open higher on Thursday tracking positive Asian markets. Looking at the volatility in the market, there is a possibility that the Nifty index may even test its crucial psychological support level of 5500 in trade today.

Overnight, US stock markets ended 1 per cent higher with both the Dow and S&P 500 ending at historic highs.

Asian shares edged higher tracking overnight gains in Wall Street. The Nikkei stock average opened up 1.2 per cent after closing at its highest since August 2008 on Wednesday.
