iGate & Royal Bank of Canada Mark One Year Anniversary of Relationship

iGate Global Solutions Ltd has announced that the Company and Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) have successfully completed the first year of their strategic business relationship. RBC is Canada´s largest bank and one of North America´s leading diversified financial services companies.

Over the past year, the Company has provided RBC with Information Technology services like application development, maintenance, re-engineering and testing. In addition, in cooperation with RBC´s team, the Company has delivered business benefits across RBC´s various lines of business in Canada, US and the UK.

The projects span a variety of technologies including legacy, web development and various packaged applications. This technology coverage is complemented with domain expertise in capital markets, insurance, risk management, AML, retail and commercial banking. These projects and the work the Company is doing are oriented to meeting RBC´s goals of enhanced client service, improved efficiency and effectiveness.

The relationship has worked exceedingly well as both the Company and RBC share the vision of integrating technology and operations to maximize customer benefit and operational excellence. The Company has established a dedicated Global Development Centre (GDC) for RBC in India replicating RBC´s IT infrastructure in compliance with RBC´s security requirements with the capacity to accommodate hundreds of professionals.
