Nifty Futures open interest decreases by 2.83% - Angel Broking

The Nifty futures open interest decreased by 2.83% while BankNifty futures open interest is increased by 2.91% as market closed at 5694.40 levels.

The Nifty Mar. future closed at premium of 21.10 point against a premium of 5.95 points. The Apr. series closed at a premium of 58.50 points.

The Implied Volatility of at the money options is decreased from 17.29% to 16.81%.

Nifty PCR-OI has decreased from 0.96 to 0.89 levels.

The total OI of the market is Rs.1,54,436/- cr. and the stock futures OI are Rs.28,874/- cr.

Few of the liquid counters where we have seen high cost of carry are PUNJLLOYD, OFSS, BHARTIARTL, JPASSOCIAT and EXIDEIND.
