Nifty Futures add 0.42 million shares in open interest - IIFL

Nifty futures added~0.42mn shares in open interest, while Bank Nifty added ~0.039mn in open interest.

On Nifty Option side, maximum open interest for Call is at 5,800 strike, while for the Put is at 5,600 strike.

Put writing was seen in Nifty October 5,800 option which added 1.10mn shares in Open Interest.

Nifty October 5,900 call and 6000 call which shed ~0.45mn and 0.3mn shares in open interest witnessed buying.

Midcaps banks saw a fresh addition of long position, while short position was witnessed in Telecom Sector.
