M3M Maharaja Jiwaji Rao Scindia Gold Cup 2013

India's 8 leading polo teams are battling for the coveted M3M Maharaja Jiwaji Rao Scindia Gold Cup 2013 at the historic Jaipur Polo Ground, New Delhi. The tournament will culminate on February 24, 2013 when the top two teams will compete in the final game of chucker.

M3M Maharaja Jiwaji Rao Scindia Gold Cup 2013 is the 16th edition of this most prestigious polo tournament. Sahara Warriors, Jindal Steel & Power, Jindal Power, Elevation, Action Polo, 61st Cavalry, ASC-RVC and IPG are participating in the tournament.

The tournament is sponsored by M3M India, Delhi NCR's fastest growing real estate developer with a diversified project portfolio that includes ultra-luxury residences, serviced apartments, commercial and office spaces in Gurgaon and near the rapidly developing Dwarka Expressway corridor.

Instituted by the late Rajmata Vijaya Raje Scindia of Gwalior, in memory of her husband late Maharaja Jiwaji Rao Scindia, the Gold Cup is now patronized by the Royal Scindia Family of Gwalior. The proceeds of the tournament, one of India's premier charity polo events, will be given to the Rajmata Shrimant Vijaya Raje Scindia Centre for Development, a reformative NGO working in the fields of hunger eradication, primary education, primary health care, women empowerment and water management.
