Sensex ends the day at 20005 - Eastern Financiers

Markets ahead of the US Federal Reserve's meet and third quarter earnings by ICICI bank among others back home landed the benchmark indices slightly in the positive terrain marking marginal gains of around one tenths of a percent.

Broader indices underperformed the benchmarks shaving off around two tenths of a percent. Nifty ended the day at 6055.75 with meager gains of 5.85 points and the Sensex added 14.10 points that parked the index at 20005.
