Reduce BHEL - Oct-Dec 2012 Earnings Preview - Prabhudas Lilladher

With no major orders announced in this quarter, we expect order booking to remain subdued. Though NTPC bulk tenders for 660MW and 800MW have been evaluated, LOAs have not been awarded for all the projects due to issues relating to few clearances. Depleting order book and lack of orders will ensure slow pace of execution. BHEL is believed to have emerged as the lowest bidder for supplying equipment for a 1,320MW thermal power project to be set up in Odisha.
