M3M India Organizes Health Check-Up and Blood Donation Camp

M3M India Limited, one of the leading luxury real estate developers, organized a health check-up camp in association with Medanta Super Specialty Hospital for its staff & workers, walking an extra mile towards better health and safety of construction staff & workers at its projects.

The three-day health check-up camp, which concluded on January 3, 2013, was organised at Experia, M3M India's Sales Gallery situated at the site of one of its luxury development M3M Golf Estate on Golf Course Extension Road, Gurgaon. More than 4,000 workers, including those enrolled with project contractors Larsen & Toubro, Shapoorji Pallonji & Co. Ltd. and Consolidated Construction Consortium Ltd. participated in the camp. The real estate developer also distributed blankets to the workers after their health check-up.

M3M India, which is developing six projects in Gurgaon including four residential and two commercial projects, also organized a simultaneous blood donation camp in collaboration with Lions Club, Gurgaon and Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital at the same location for all its employees. The two-day blood donation camp witnessed participation by more than 200 employees of M3M India.

The event was attended by Mr. Rajiv Mishra, Associate Vice President of Medanta - The Medicity; Dr. Ravi Ratan Kasliwal, Chairman of Clinical & Preventive Cardiology, Community Outreach and Education at Medanta - The Medicity; Mr. Anurag Bakshi, President of Lions Club, Gurgaon.

Dr. Ravi Ratan Kasliwal, Chairman of Clinical & Preventive Cardiology of Medanta - The Medicity said, "Such initiatives taken by M3M India show that the company is genuinely concerned about their staff and workers. This is a unique step taken by anyone in the real estate sector. It was a matter of pride for all of us at Medanta to be partners in this noble initiative."

Mr. Anurag Bakshi, President of Lions Club, Gurgaon said, "The camp is successful and sets an example for others to follow. Many lives are lost every year in India due to unavailability of blood and we are happy that M3M India is contributing towards helping those in need. This initiative sets a great example for our youth and urges them to come forward as socially responsible citizens."
