Market Wrap-Up - December 26, 2012 - Eastern Financiers

Trade for the week initiated on a humdrum note that ended with marginal gains of around one tenths of a percent, ahead of Christmas Holiday and the December series Futures & Options expiry.

Nifty ended the day almost flat, close to the 5850 mark at 5855.75 with meager gains of 8.05 points and the Sensex ended a tad above its prior session close at 19255.09 with gains of 13.09 points.

Broader indices however outperformed the benchmarks that added gains of around 0.35%. Sectoral indices ended assorted in the range of around (0.5)-1%.
