Hi-Bird bags another prestigious award for Eco Rikshaw

Hi-Bird Cycles, leading manufacturer and exporter of bicycles from the country has bagged prestigious award "Bicycle Udyog Award" for innovation of Hi-Bird Eco Rickshaw in India instituted by Asia's largest bicycle association i.e. United Cycle and Parts Manufacturers Association of India.

The award was recived by Mr R.D.Sharma, CMD, Hibird bicycles from Mr.Anil Joshi, Minister of Industries and Commerce, Technical Education and Industrial Training (Govt. of Punjab) at a function held in Ludhiana recently.

Hi-Bird had launched Bicycle Rickshaw which is not only light weight and easy for rickshaw puller but has all safety features in place, various luxuries like FM radio, water bottle, magazine/news paper, seat belt for passenger, first aid kit, extra leg space, comfortable seat and sufficient space for luggage of the passenger. In many towns of Punjab this rickshaw is running under the scheme "Dial a Cab". These rickshaws are also being exported and till now company has exported this model of rickshaw to France, Germany, U.K. and company is receiving a tremendous response from these markets.

Hi-Bird is known for New Innovations and High Quality Products. Hi-Bird is India's first and only bicycle manufacturer having received two Quality Awards consecutively for two years from Europe i.e. "International Europe Award for Quality, Paris, France" in the year 2000 and "International Platinum Star Award for Quality" from Geneva, Switzerland in the year 2001. Hi-Bird also recipient of NATIONAL AWARD for Quality from Govt. of India. Having in-house Research & Development, Hi-Bird is manufacturing largest variety in bicycles having a vast range of more than 100 models serving the needs of various segments and age groups.
