Century Real Estate kicks off new civic initiative to clean Bangalore roads

The management and staff at Century Real Estate, Bangalore, has taken a step further in giving back to the society by making Bangalore clean and beautiful. In association with the community organization Ugly India, Century Real Estate on Wednesday undertook its new CSR movement, Clean Drive: Making Bangalore beautiful, an initiative aimed at cleaning up neighborhood roads. This time it was the turn of Cunningham Road. Starting at 8 am in the morning, Century along with the Ugly India cleaned and beautified the road, giving back to the society and neighborhood at large during the joy of giving week.

According to Century Real Estate, one of Bangalore's pioneering real estate firms, such an initiative assumed greater significance in today's times when garbage collection in the city has suffered a major hit. Century hoped this would be the beginning of a new phase in Bangalore's civic sensitiveness.


"We are extremely thrilled to be associating with The Ugly Indian in doing our bit towards making Bangalore streets cleaner and neater. it is high time that each of us play our part in keeping our city clean rather than just complaining and doing nothing. Century Real Estate is a responsible corporate citizen and this initiative is our way of giving back to the society, although in small measure" said Mr. Ravindra Pai, MD, Century Real Estate.
