Sterlite Industries - Q1FY13 Result - First Cut - Microsec Research

Sterlite Industries Ltd announced its Q4FY12 results on 26th July, 2012.

The Company's Net Sales arrived at INR10591.39 crore, which was down by 1.59% on QoQ basis, but up by 7.81% on YoY basis. The EBITDA for the quarter was INR2090.91 crore, which decreased by 18.72% and 22.85% on QoQ basis and YoY basis respectively. The EBITDA Margin was down by 426bps on QoQ basis and 795bps on YoY basis. The company posted a Net profit of INR1201.59 crore, which was again down by 5.90% sequentially and 26.72% on yearly basis.
