IndiGo expands its Middle East footprint with new Bengaluru-Riyadh direct flights, starting 16 November 2025 
              Indian Railways have carried 728.41 million tonnes of revenue earning freight traffic against the target of 726.00 million tonnes during the financial year 2006-07. The freight carried shows an increase of 61.21 million tonnes over the freight traffic of 667.20 million tonnes actually carried during the corresponding period last year, an increase of 9.17 per cent.
During the month of March 2007, the revenue earning freight traffic carried by Indian Railways was 72.05 million tonnes. There is an increase of 5.86 million tonnes over the actual freight traffic of 66.19 million tonnes actually carried by the Indian Railways during the same period last year, an increase of 8.85 per cent.
