Bangalore based TÜV Rheinland (India) Pvt Ltd., a worldwide leader in Testing, Inspection, Certification & Training, announced that it has adopted A. Thimmaiah Reddy School in Electronics City, Hosur Road, Bangalore, as a part of its ongoing CSR activities. Established in the year 1992, A. Thimmaiah Reddy School is a Government School providing education to the poorer sections of the society. It has about 1200 Students studying in various classes.
The Government of Karnataka has accorded permission to TUV Rheinland India to adopt the school and to contribute to the overall development of the school by providing, within a span of 5 years, infrastructure development in the school like Construction of auditorium, Rest Rooms for female students, Hand Wash facility, Drinking Water facility, Sewerage Facility, Library, Security for the School and Security Guards.
Said Mr Enrico Ruhle, Managing Director of TUV Rheinland India, "The Rest Rooms for female students has already been taken up and shall be completed by mid May 2012. Drinking water filter has also been provided to the school. We would also be donating books to the School's library and some of our colleagues would also be interested in spending their leisure time on Saturdays to educate the children in domains they are familiar with. We would also undertake painting of the school premises in a phased manner".
Mr. Biedermann, Member of Board, TUV Rheinland Group, along with Mr Andreas Hoefer, Chief Regional Officer and Mr Enrico Ruhle, Managing Director, TUV Rheinland India, and the team of TUV Rheinland India visited the School recently, wherein Mr Biedermann assured full co-operation to the school from TUV Rheinland Group in terms of better infrastructure for the children.
