M.S. Swaminathan and Kapila Vatsyayan nominated to Rajya Sabha

Prof. M.S. Swaminathan and Dr. (Smt.) Kapila Vatsyayan have been nominated to the Rajya Sabha. Prof. Swaminathan has been nominated against the vacancy caused due to the retirement of a nominated member, while Dr. Vatsyayan has been nominated against the casual vacancy caused by resignation in her earlier capacity as member of the Rajya Sabha, till the remainder of her term i.e. 15th February 2012.
