              Maxim Media Pvt. Ltd. a Mumbai based media house has announced to launch Muallim, a monthly Muslim Lifestyle magazine in English.
Muallim, which mean tutor, this magazine, will be the first of its kind to publish from India.
Muallim magazine will help its reader to make a define choice in view of Islam and helps its reader to clear out misconception on Islam.
On this occasion Muallim's Editor-in-Chief, Maulana Ubaidur Rahaman Qasmi, who is also a member of Islamic Investment and Finance Board of India and Alim from Darul Uloom Deoband said, "We are introducing "Muallim, to enrich lives of Muslims who are well versed with English language in India and Abroad".
Speaking about the features, he said, "Articles in 'Muallim' will be based on Islamic theology and Muslim contemporary affairs."
Appreciating the concept, Hazrat Rabey Hasan Nadawi, President All Indian Muslim Personal Law board, said, "The time is apt for Muallim to hit the market as there is dearth of such literature which focuses on Islamic upbringing and on contemporary issues."
On this occasion Mr Z.F.Nomani, Director - Marketing, said, "A strong marketing activity is devised to reach out to the target audiences. Maxim is going to do 360* communication such as digital (social media presence), below the line activity, outdoor and print."
He further said that Muallim is an alternative for marketers to reach the Muslim consumers, for whom Muallim will be a source of authentic information.
Muallim will refrain from publishing advertisement of companies, whose business is not Shariah Compliant.
Badiuzzama Naeemrurahman, Director Legal, Accounts and Circulation, said, "Distribution will be through subscription and on newsstands at by and large Muslim population. The magazine is target to Muslims who are well verse with English. The print run of Muallim will be 3000 copies. It has a cover price of Rs 50."
