Idea Cellular allots 495426 equity shares

The ESOS Compensation Committee of Idea Cellular Ltd has vide its circular resolution dated March 22, 2012 allotted 495,426 Equity Shares of Rs. 10/- each to the Option Grantees, pursuant to the exercise of Stock Options granted under the Company's Employee Stock Option Scheme, 2006 (ESOS-2006).

Post the said allotment, the Equity Share Capital of the Company stands increased to 3,308,845,110 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each aggregating to Rs. 33,088,451,100/-.

The Idea Cellular Ltd stock was trading at Rs.98.75, up by Rs.0.85 or 0.87%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.99 and low of Rs.97.15.

The total traded quantity was 0.58 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 2.62 lakhs.
