Railway Budget 2012-13 - Railways to recruit over 1 lakh personnel in 2012-13

The Minister of Railways Shri Dinesh Trivedi said that during 2011-12 the railways recruited over 80,000 persons to fill up various vacancies.

Now the Minister has proposed to recruit over one lakh persons during 2012-13 so that backlog of SC/ST/OBC and other categories will be wiped off.
