The South Indian Bank´s public issue subscribed 6.65 times

The South Indian Bank´s follow-on public issue has got subscribed for 6.65 times. The Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) portion has got subscribed for 11.8749 times, Non-Institutional Investors portion got subscribed for 5.7855 times and the retatil investors portion got subscribed for 3.9203 times. The Bank had given quota for its employees and existing shareholders. The employee portion got subscribed for only 0.4328 times and existing shareholders quota got subscribed for 0.6579 times.

The bank´s public issue opened for subscription on February 10, 2006 and closed on February 15, 2006. The bank issued shares for Rs.150 Crores in a price band of Rs.60 to Rs.66 per share.
