Ten Garib Rath and 53 other trains to be introduced

Presenting the Rail Budget today in Parliament, the Railway Minister, Shri Lalu Prasad announced introduction of 10 Garib Rath trains to provide better comfort at lower fare and introduction of 53 new trains.

In view of tercentenary function of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Gurta Gaddi at Nanded, the Railway Minister proposed special trains from Anandpur Sahib and Patna Sahib to Nanded during the celebrations. A special train between Pune and Delhi during Commonwealth Youth Games in Pune in October is also proposed.
