The Transportation Infrastructure business won an order worth Rs. 513 Crore.
The business has bagged a new order from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for the four laning of the highway in the Aurangabad to Karodi section of NH-211 (New NH No 52) in the state of Maharashtra on EPC mode. The project involves construction of 30.21 Km of four lane dual carriage way with flexible pavement, 28.83 Km of service / slip roads and other structures like major bridges, flyovers and vehicular / pedestrian / cattle underpasses.
The Power Transmission and Distribution Business has won orders worth Rs. 500 Crore.
The business has secured an order for constructing 220kV & 110kV Transmission Lines in Kochi, Kerala. Advanced Multi-Circuit Multi-Voltage (MCMV) narrow based towers will be used for this package which connects several substations in the city and suburbs. For most part of the lines, right of way of existing 66kV lines will be used for accommodating this corridor of higher voltage levels. The TransGrid project is said to be the largest ever transmission project in the history of Kerala State Electricity Board aimed at meeting the load growth and to ensure reliable and stable power supply across the state. Catering to a fast growing metropolis, the awarded package forms a crucial part of this project.
The business has secured another order from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited for rural electrification works in Jammu & Kashmir. The scope of this package involves construction of 33kV/11kV Substations, HT & LT Lines, Distribution Transformers, etc. for providing service connections to households in villages and habitations in the districts of Ramban, Udhampur and Reasi. Additional orders have been bagged from certain ongoing power distribution jobs.
The Water & Effluent Treatment Business has won an order worth Rs. 371 Crore.
An EPC order has been secured from Rural Water Supply and Sanitation, Odisha for providing water supply to Komana, Nuapada, Boden and Khariar Blocks of Nuapada District in Odisha.
The scope of work includes supply and laying of transmission & distribution pipelines, design and construction of an intake well, pump houses, water treatment plants and water storage structures with associated electromechanical & instrumentation works.
The Metallurgical & Material Handling Business has bagged orders worth Rs. 201 Crore in the area of Blast Furnace Revamp & product business. The core strength of the business continues to win customer's strong faith and confidence in its capability to deliver complex projects / products.
