Cerebra Integrated Technologies Ltd expands its E-Waste Recycling business

Cerebra Integrated Technologies Limited a BSE & NSE listed Company has in the last year installed one of India's largest E-Waste Recycling facilities at Narasapura, Kolar District near Bangalore in February 2017. This is a state of the art plant and handles complete recycling of Electronic Waste or WEEE.

India's robust growth trajectory and thriving demand for E-Waste Recycling Companies as well as refurbished products has put one of India's largest E-Waste Recycling Company CEREBRA in a unique position.

CEREBRA, which has more than two decades of experience in the IT industry in India and is enhancing its business strategy to strengthen and expand its presence in the world's fastest-growing economy by rigorously promoting E-Waste in expanding its base from Bangalore, Karnataka to the other states of India such as Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamilnadu, New Delhi, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana regions through its offices at Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Chennai, New Delhi, Vishakapatnam (Vizag) and Hyderabad.

In a recent article on the comments were saddening saying "Every year India loses gold worth Rs 6,347 crores as part of e-waste. India is throwing away valuables including precious metals such as gold, silver, palladium worth over Rs 18,677 crores as electronic waste every year.

According to a report by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), a UN agency working in the field of information and communication technologies, India discarded about 2 million tons, i.e. 2,000,000,000 kg electronic waste (e-waste) in 2016."

To grow this business to its potential Cerebra E-Waste Recyclers have acquired quite a few big named clients in the IT Industry as their preferred vendor or partner for EWaste Recycling. Cerebra has also been approaching Government and Public Sector Undertakings (PSU) on similar grounds and approaching them through MSTC and other Government portals by the process of bidding.

Cerebra has plans to enter in to partnerships with Medical Laboratory Equipment manufacturers for recycling their electronic equipment's that fall under the E-Waste manifest. Cerebra E-Waste Recyclers has applied for memberships with a number of EWaste or Recycling Organizations which can benefit the Company.

Cerebra E-Waste Recyclers believe in recognizing the contribution of the informal sector and is planning to transform them as Partners in collection of E-Waste.

Cerebra E-Waste Recyclers is looking at options to partner with other registered Collectors, Dismantlers and Recyclers to see that nothing really ends up in landfill as this is the ultimate objective of the Company.

CEREBRA aims to continue to be part of India's exciting e-waste recycling journey, increase shareholder value and support its sustainable growth ambitions and commitments through further collaborations with existing partners as well as through new strategic opportunities.

Shares of CEREBRA INTEGRATED TECHNOLOGIES LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.59.3 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 62.65. The total number of shares traded during the day was 1279547 in over 5190 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 63 and intraday low of 57.55. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 76050650.
